souhrn: The overall course intends to look at just what intelligence is all about and what it means for a machine to be intelligent. The overall viewpoint is one from the new wave of artificial intelligence - more bottom up rather than the classical top down approach. In the first set of 3 lectures we will investigate what exactly intelligence is in humans animals and machines. It is expected that the lectures will take on much of a discussion/interaction format with ideas being considered and argued.
